Review from "The Little Dog Laughed" "Renee Pezzotta has just the right attitude, look, timing, and biting sense of humor to make the role work and generate considerable laughter from Diane’s very first Breakfast At Tiffany’s monologue to pretty much any time the powerhouse agent is onstage." Steven Stanley, StageSceneLA Comics Unplugged Review "Renee Pezzotta has a good strong stage presence and is obviously a very talented women. I expect that she will go far. She had a number of funny bits in her set. She stated that "sexual harassment in the army gives a whole new meaning to "Yes, Drill Sergeant!"." She also stated "I found my first gray hair -- it wasn't on my head -- maybe it was a cobweb." Renee Pezzotta will go far on the comedy circuit." Applause! Applause! New York I was born in Brooklyn, NY and grew up in Memphis, TN. I’m what you’d call a very confused Italian! I studied acting at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy and H.B. Studios in New York. I started performing stand-up comedy on a whim when I booked myself at the New York Comedy Club – did my ten minutes – and I was hooked! In 1997 I began touring professionally across the US and Canada. Stand-up eventually brought me to Los Angeles for a comedy festival, and I never left. I've called Los Angeles home since 2000. In 2004 I married Director Alex Bram and together we formed Pezzotta-Bram Productions and Panic Attack Films. We have produced several award-winning films including the horror short “Body of Work” and the feature-length documentary “By the Side of the Road: 911 in America," as well as the award-winning Web series “Good Job, Thanks!” and the award-winning short film “Ticket to Hell” On of my favorite quotes: "Before you take any action, stop to clarify your intentions. Make sure your intentions are good, and good will be returned to you." - Oprah... Though I'm not sure she coined it... I try to live my life by it. I’m a proud member of SAG-AFTRA and AEA. I have a BA in Instructional Design and a Master’s Degree in Training and Leadership and work for Google as a Producer and Instructional Designer. |
